Ingredients
6 subs / 1 sub per serving
- 6 subs or hoagie rolls
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 18 meatballs, prepared from our Baked Turkey Meatballs recipe
- 2-3 cups tomato basil sauce, warmed
- freshly grated parmesan cheese, to taste
Directions
- Prepare the turkey meatballs according to the Baked Turkey Meatball recipe.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Place the hoagie rolls on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and top each roll with one slice of provolone cheese.
- Divide the meatballs evenly among the six rolls (about three meatballs per sandwich). Spoon tomato basil sauce over the meatballs.
- Bake for 5–8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sandwiches are heated through.
- Sprinkle generously with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately with a side salad, roasted vegetables, or fresh fruit for a balanced meal.
