Peanut Butter and Jelly Pocket Pizza   

Who loves PB and J?  Pizza?  We do!  We combined them both for an after school nutritious and delicious snack.  I have to admit, we love this pizza anytime of the day.  The pocket thin flatbread adds 5 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein, which takes an ordinary PB and J to extraordinary.  Make this pizza your own with your family’s favorite fruit toppings.  It will definitely keep your active scholar energized and satisfied until dinner. 

Ingredients

(1 serving)

  • 1 pocket thin flatbread, lightly toasted
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1½ tablespoons jelly
  • 1 medium banana, sliced 

Directions

1. Layer the toasted pocket thin with the above ingredients.

2. Serve open-faced or closed.
